WHAT DOES THE VALUE OF OV IN SCM DEPEND ON

The value of OV in MCU depends on the operation process.


OV: indicates whether overflow occurred during the operation. If the operation result exceeds the range of data that can be represented by 8-bit binary numbers, that is, the signed number -128~+127, then the flag position is 1. For the operation of unsigned numbers, it only needs CY to judge, and ov has no effect. The OV bit is useful for the operation of signed numbers.
